The area of design & technology includes a wide field of activity. It ranges from design, product development, process and technology development to production management, quality performance and management all the way to consulting. Over the course of their studies, students learn practical skills in the use of technologies and test methods just as they gain experience in the development of new products, the design of new textile surfaces and also functional textiles. Students learn the techniques of practical implementation of their design and development concepts. The course involves incremental acquirement of knowledge and skills in a wide range
