The Winner of The Techtextile Innovation Award is the active Protection System made by Dow Corning. The new textile branded «Active Protection System» is an alternative to hard shell protectors.
The new developped material is breathable and very flexible but never the less protects the body the way a shell would. In case of an accident, the textile gets stiff and absorbs the shock most efficiently.
